Simple Baby shower thank you!

I wanted to get the thank you cards for my baby shower that my family had for me done before the baby was born and came home. These were REALLY simple but I think they turned out cute. For those of you who know me well I get bored very easily, so I used three different stamp sets.
Here is what I used:
Stamp sets: Bugs and Kisses, Holiday Blitz, Nursery Necessities, and Thank you Kindly
Paper: Whisper White Cardstock
Ink: Regal Rose, Barely Banana, Bashful Blue and Basic Black Classic ink Pads
That was it! I hand wrote a personal message to each person in the card as I feel sometimes a personal message means more.
Thanks for looking!

Cake anyone?

My sister-in-law made this diaper cake for me for my baby shower. She always does a nice job. She also make regular cakes. Yes, she is very talented. She also used Stampin' Up! on this cake so I had to share!
This is a retired stamp set called So many Scallops.

The umbrellas on this card are from another retired SU! stamp set. I thought this saying was so cute. Of course, I kept it for the baby's scrapbook.
Thanks for looking!

Bugs and Wishes!

I need a birthday card for my nephew for next weekend and decided to use the Bugs and Wishes Stamp Set. This set is not currently in the catalog but it is still available. It is on the dormant list right now.

For this card I used:
Stamp Sets: Bugs and Wishes, Taffy Alphabet and Full of Life (inside sentiment)
Paper: Pacific Blue, Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White Cardstock and Urban Garden DSP
Ink: Pacific Blue, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Basic Gray Classic ink pads
Accessories: Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla Silk Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensions

This is the inside of the card. It came out a little brighter on camera than the front for some reason.

Thanks for looking!

Happy Easter

I have been trying all day to get a card done to show you ladies. Between both girls being home from school and a pot of veggie soup I still cannot believe I was able to do it!!

Easter is right around the bend and I wanted to use some of the new DSP from the new Spring/Summer catalog. For the egg I stamped the stamp on the Whisper White cardstock and used the markers to add color. Then I stamped the stamp on a piece of DSP and cut it out and adhered it over the egg.

Here is what I used:
Stamps: A Good Egg
Paper: Good Morning Sunshine DSP, Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstock
Ink: Staz-on Black, Barely Banana Marker and Pumpkin Pie Marker
Accessories: Word window punch, Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon

New Catalog Event Free gift

For those ladies that attended my New Catty/Sale-a-bration event on Saturday they received one of these pins as a free gift for coming. There were actually three different designs altogether. This is one of them.

I used the Rasberry Tart DSP, Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red and Pink Pirquette cardstock and the Mellow Moss and Rose Red grosgrain ribbon as well as the Pretty in Pink Taffeta ribbon. I also used the Vintage Brads. The diamond shaped brads are retired but did come in the vintage brad collection a few years back. All of the pins used the same products I just put the pins together a little different which created the three different designs.

Thank you Judi for this idea. You are the best!

I have a few more things to share with you ladies from my event on Saturday, but gotta run for now. It is time to get the kids ready for school!
